October to March is the kindest window — clear mornings, cool evenings on the ghats, and comfortable road travel between cities. April to June is hot on the plains, and July to September brings the monsoon, when the rivers run high and boat rides are more often called off. Tell us your preferred month and we will pace the days around it.
Yes — both circuits are built for unhurried travel rather than a packed checklist. Temple days are deliberately slow, meals are vegetarian, and you can begin from Lucknow, Ayodhya or Varanasi, whichever leaves your family the shortest journey to the first darshan. Tell us who is travelling and we will adjust the walking and the driving hours accordingly.
That depends on the day, not on us. Temple timings are set by each temple administration and change with the season and with festivals. We plan each day around the aarti and darshan schedule rather than a fixed clock, so a longer queue absorbs into the day instead of collapsing the rest of it. During Shravan at Kashi and around Ram Navami at Ayodhya, expect noticeably longer waits.
Not everywhere. Mobile phones, cameras and bags are not permitted inside the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham — lockers are available at the gates, and your driver can hold what you would rather not deposit. Bodh Gaya's Mahabodhi Temple screens visitors at the outer gate and restricts phones and bags beyond it. Your coordinator will tell you what to leave in the vehicle before each stop.
Modest clothing for every temple — no shorts and no sleeveless tops. A light shawl or dupatta is worth carrying for shrines that ask you to cover your head or shoulders. Comfortable walking shoes matter more than most people expect: the ghats at Kashi and the approach at Ayodhya both involve long stretches on foot, often barefoot near the sanctum.
On the 07-day Cultural Quadrilateral, yes — the boat ride appears in the itinerary on two separate evenings. On the 06-day Awadh Tour Triangle it is not included as standard, and boat charges are payable locally unless we have written it into your plan. Ask for it when you enquire and we will add it. Either way, boat rides depend on river conditions, weather and local permission on the day.
The 07-day circuit is entirely vegetarian, served buffet style. The 06-day circuit includes daily breakfast and dinner; lunches, snacks and drinks are not part of the package, which leaves you free to eat where the day takes you. If anyone in the group needs Jain food, no onion or garlic, or a diabetic-friendly plate, tell us when you book so we can request it from the hotels in advance.
It happens, and the plan is built to take it. The order of an itinerary may be adjusted for local conditions, traffic or administrative closures — access to Akshayvat and the Prayagraj (Allahabad) Fort, for instance, is controlled by the Army and can be restricted at short notice. Your coordinator reworks the day rather than dropping the darshan, and stays reachable while you travel.
The Awadh Tour Triangle is planned for a minimum of four travellers. Smaller groups, couples and solo pilgrims are welcome — the itinerary stays the same, the vehicle and costing simply change. Larger family groups are straightforward; tell us the number and we will plan the vehicles around it.

A government photo ID for every traveller — Aadhaar, Passport or Voter ID — is mandatory, including for hotel check-in. Carry personal medicines and a small first-aid kit, and book any onward or return travel on a refundable basis where you can, so a delayed day does not cost you a ticket.
